Venkatesh Ponemone, MS, PhD, MBA | Executive Director of India Operations, Director of Clinicaldr-venkatesh-photo-for-teamand Scientific Affairs (TotipotentRX Cell Therapy Pvt. Ltd.) 

Dr. Ponemone serves as the Executive Director of Indian operations and Director for Clinical Affairs and GMP Laboratory since September 2008. Prior to joining TotipotentRX, he was an Assistant Professor of Medical Microbiology at Kamineni Graduate School of Medicine, Hyderabad, India. Dr. Ponemone completed a two year post-doctoral position in the arena of inflammatory disease and immunology at the University of Illinois, Chicago, and authored more than 35 peer reviewed publications on regenerative medicine, role of cytokines in autoimmune disease, radioprotective and chemoprotective agents in cancer treatment. Dr. Ponemone is a Fellow of Academic General Education, and has a Ph.D. from Manipal University in radiation therapy and oncology, holds a post-graduate degree in Medical Microbiology from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal University and also holds a Master’s in Business Administration degree to his credentials. His primary responsibility is focused on clinical development process, trial management oversight, overall planning, compliance, and operational oversight of clinical studies for all phases of clinical development. Also oversees the operations of the cGMP Cell processing Core Facility for Stem Cell Transplant and Regenerative Medicine Program at the Centre for excellence in Cellular Medicine at Fortis Hospital, Gurgaon, India. 

 

Robin C. Stracey | DIrector, President and Chief Executive Officer 

0124c510-7723-467a-bb34-7e1db677f583Mr. Stracey was appointed Chief Executive Officer in June 2015 after serving as Interim CEO and Director since October 2014. Mr. Stracey has been a member of the Board since July 29, 2011. In July 2012, Mr. Stracey became Director, President and Chief Executive Officer of Integrated Fluidics, Inc., a privately-held microfluidics company. From December 2007 to April 2012 he was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Cantimer Incorporated, a privately-held company. From November 2003 to March 2007, Mr. Stracey was Director, President and Chief Executive Officer of Applied Imaging Corporation, a publicly-traded, computer-aided diagnostics company that is now part of Danaher Corporation. Previously, Mr. Stracey was the Vice President and General Manager of a Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry business unit of Thermo Electron Corporation, now Thermo Fisher Scientific, the world’s largest supplier of laboratory equipment and reagents to life scientists. He also served as a Corporate Vice President at Dade Behring Inc., a leading supplier of clinical diagnostic products that is now part of Siemens Healthcare. Mr. Stracey has a B.S. degree with honors from the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom and is a graduate of the Executive Program at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. 

 

Mike Bruch | Chief Financial Officer 

Mike Bruch was appointed Chief Financial Officer in October 2015 after serving as Interim Chief0124c510-7723-467a-bb34-7e1db677f583 Financial Officer for five months. Mr. Bruch has served as Controller since joining the Company in 2003 and has responsibility for the Accounting and Internal Control functions of the Company. Mr. Bruch has over 25 years of accounting experience in various financial and managerial roles for General Electric (GE) and Dade MicroScan (now Siemens Healthcare). Mr. Bruch is a Certified Public Accountant and graduated with honors from California State University – Sacramento with a B.S. degree in Business Administration. 

 

Dr Namita Mathur: Medical Director 

0124c510-7723-467a-bb34-7e1db677f583Dr. Mathur completed her MD in Pathology in 1996 from KG Medical College, Lucknow. She had served as Director of Laboratory Services, Dept. of Lab Sciences in Kalyani Hospital Pvt. Ltd., Gurgaon from 1997-2012, and also led as Technical Supervisor/ Quality Manager of the NABL accredited laboratory. She has also worked as a Quality Consultant for various NABL accredited laboratories. Dr. Mathur has a keen interest in Haematology, Bone Marrow Aspiration Cytology, Cytopathology and Histopathology. Dr. Mathur has taken over as Medical Director at TotipotentRX Centre for Cellular Medicine, Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon, India from 2012 till date. Dr. Mathur is responsible for all the medical aspects of the facility related to cell therapy products and its services. She is well versed in cord blood processing, testing and cellular therapies.
